This spread makes your tongue click. The apostrophe is intended to make the name immediately recognizable. Schnal'z wants to be distinctive and not just vegan lard.
A symphony of creativity, high-quality organic ingredients, sophisticated recipes and modern production technology creates a purely plant-based spread. “The Original” is reminiscent of grandma's best drippings. Spicy, hearty, a pleasure that wants to be repeated.
However, we weren't really interested in a replacement product. We would like to offer a super delicious spread with sprouts. The Schnal'z doesn't just go well on bread. In the recipe section you will find further applications for delicious dishes.
At PepUpLife nothing works without sprouts: By adding 11% dried sprouts we achieve two things. On the one hand, a crispy bite experience, on the other hand, the sprouts it contains contribute to a balanced diet. You can simply enjoy everything as a spread.
Schnal'z – a clear, clean product
We worked on the recipe and finally on its implementation in production for almost a year with many ups and downs. With experienced partners (IFS-Global Food certified company) we managed to bring the taste of “homemade” into the glass.
We do not specifically mention on the label that we do not put any artificial additives (preservatives, flavor enhancers, (hidden) sugars, etc.) in our jars. This goes without saying for us, just as all the ingredients are organic.
We also do not use palm fat - instead we use organic coconut fat that is not hydrogenated. This means that the Schnal'z becomes soft without refrigeration - but no problem, it quickly becomes firmer again in the refrigerator.

Of course everything is organic and without added sugar or any artificial substances.
