For preparation in a sprouting jar:
Here's how: Fill a sprouting jar with 50g (approx. 3 heaped tablespoons) of sprouting seeds and rinse thoroughly. Fill with water and let stand at room temperature for about 8 hours. Then remove the water. Place the jar with the sieve facing down. Rinse twice a day and let sprout for about 2-3 days. Afterward, either eat the sprouts raw or blanch them briefly. Store any remaining sprouts in the refrigerator for a maximum of 2 days.
Each type of sprouting seed is unique. A mix of several varieties contributes to a varied and balanced diet. A healthy lifestyle is important.
Sprouts are not "dormant" seeds, but growing vegetables. You can't get any fresher than that!
